Welcome to the Queensland Caravan Club Website ....

he Queensland Caravan Club (QCC) was established in May 1949 with the aim of bringing together like-minded people who enjoy the spirit of caravanning and companionship.  Although the Club membership has quite a diverse range of age groups, vocations and interests, members share a common love of the outdoors and of the freedom to explore Australia in a caravan.  'Fellowship on Wheels'.

Caravan clubs often have access to many venues and sometimes the QCC visit places off the beaten track that one would normally bypass when travelling.

Each month, the Club meets at organised rallies usually within 200 kilometres of Brisbane which are planned 12 months in advance.  Attendance at rallies is generally between 50 and 100 caravans where members relax in an informal and friendly atmosphere and enjoy a variety of social activities, such as:

  • Playing disc bowls, cricket or golf.
  • Evening social events of mixed variety.
  • Partaking in a tour or tag-along of local places of interest.
  • Sharing a camp oven dinner or attending a combined happy hour.
  • Playing a musical instrument, singing or dancing.
  • Telling tall tales around a campfire or at a happy hour.
  • Visiting exciting and unusual places of interest.
  • Dining at a local venue.
  • General social interaction.

The Club’s monthly newsletter, website and Facebook Group informs members of what is going-on and keeps them in touch. QCC widens its circle of friends through regular contact with other caravan clubs throughout Queensland and in other states and has no limit on membership numbers.  There is always room for more friendly faces so if you enjoy great company and have a love of all things caravanning, give us a call, come and join us, and you will be on your way to making new friends and having a fun and enjoyable times.  The Queensland Caravan Club also:

  • Participates at state and national rallies.
  • Makes welcome first-timers and experienced caravanners.
  • Gathers at caravan parks, showgrounds and bush camping sites.
  • Is 'pet-friendly' permitting pets where rally venues allow. These, however, must be under strict control and dogs must be kept on a leash when out-and-about and picked-up after.
  • Keeps costs to a minimum by endeavouring to give its members value.
  • Raises funds for donation to worthy causes.
