In March 2018, QCC had 103 ordinary members, 14 life members, four social members and
three associate members, which adds up to a total of 124 members.
The CCQ State Rally was held at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct from 22 to 28
October 2018. The host clubs were Bayside, Peninsula and QCC. A total of 51 caravans
from QCC attended this state rally. Many of our people were very involved in making this
rally work well, both as organisers and helpers - many hands make light work.

It was QCC’s 70 birthday in May 2019,
which we celebrated at the Boonah
Showground, with 54 caravans
attending. This was a very special
weekend with arts and crafts, golf, lawn
and disc bowls, movie night, aero club
tour and QCC’s memorabilia display. On
Saturday, QCC also held a catered lunch,
th
after which the 70 birthday cake was
cut by life members, Ron and Pam
Robson-Petch. In the evening we were
entertained with a singalong by local
entertainers Tanya, Daryl and Robin.
This was indeed a most enjoyable
weekend.
The final birthday celebration was a
delicious luncheon in June at the
Summit Restaurant at the Mt Coot-Tha
Lookout, attended by 97. The luncheon
was enhanced by some of the best views
in Brisbane.

As per usual practice, the Queensland
CCQ State Rally was not held in 2019 because the National Rally was held this year at
rd
Albany, Western Australia, from 14 to 23 October. 23 caravans from QCC made the big
th
trip to Albany, with many using it as an excuse to continue on, touring through the region.
National rallies have for a long time been counted as a QCC rally. As such, ever since
national rallies have been moved from Christmas time to earlier in the year, a QCC rally
was not held during that month. However, in 2019, QCC’s committee decided to trial
holding an official QCC rally in the same month as the national rally. In October 2019,
QCC held a second official rally at Standown Park, at which 34 caravans attended.
